Course Outline

This course teaches the recognition, modus operandi and immediate action drills for for personnel working in countries affected by IED, UXO and mines so individuals, who find themselves facing these threats, can safely deal with the situation.

The day comprises classroom-based theory, culminating in Practical Mine Strike Extraction Drills. The subject matter is International Mine Action Standards (IMAS)  compliant.

Students are given a Personal Mine Extraction Kit and a UXO recognition crib card to take way with them.
